• Lead group of Master’s students in designing displays for autonomous vehicles which will be tested in a high fidelity driving simulator

• Apply UX design principles in development of an accessible weather app for both iOS and Android, both available on the app store

• Conduct usability testing and end user interviews throughout iterative design process

• Develop sketches, wireframes, and prototypes to communicate UI changes to multi-disciplinary team

• Quantify impact of varying levels of stress of aircraft pilots during flight along with workload analysis to build a new interface that facilitates decision-making

• Focus groups and interviews with pilots with private licenses

• Experiment using flight simulator using various scenarios of stressful situations to observe inflight interaction with different GUIs

 

 

Cognitive Neuroscience Research Laboratory

• Research neural activity while performing cued and uncued memory tasks using fMRI

• Prepare and analyze data with Statistical Parametric Mapping (SPM8) and Analysis of Functional Neuroimages
